In this demonstration, Barbara will freely explore the vast array of acrylic products and help you to catapult your creativity into new directions. The Golden Acrylic Lecture-Demo is a fun, fast-paced, informative lecture covering basic technical and application subjects which will help any painter. This workshop will teach you the fundamentals of working with acrylic paints and will explain the various mediums and how they work. You will learn about acrylic gels, which allow you to modify your paint in infinite ways and to personalize your creative expression. Pigments and their unique properties, color-mixing tips, proper grounds, and varnishing will all be addressed. Learn how to get more out of your painting and master your materials! All attendees will come away from the demonstration with a selection of Golden acrylics samples and literature. Barbara is a painter, photographer, mixed media artist, teacher and lecturer and is sponsored by Golden Artist Colors. She brings together a blend of techniques and influences which result from her travels and cultural influences. Barbara shows her work both nationally and internationally. Cost: $20 |
